1923, Most violent four minutes in boxing: Jack Dempsey defends his heavyweight boxing title against Luis Firpo at the Poloi Grounds in New York. In the first round, Firpo knocks Dempsey through the ropes and onto a sports writer. In the same round, Firpo is knocked down seven times. In round two, Dempsey knocks out Firpo.
